About Us

Bark & Compost has been a major supplier of mulch and
other pine bark products to landscape, horticultural and
nursery industries for the last 20 years.

Bark & Compost is based at our 18 hectare processing
plant in Caboolture, Queensland where it is ideally suited to
service our customers and our suppliers, the saw mills of
South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales.

Bark & Compost has a fleet of large volume transport
vehicles to transport a range of secondary products
produced by the timber industry, where it is then processed
at the Caboolture plant. Our ability to market and therefore
shift large volumes of materials is second to none.

Bark & Compost quality control processes extends to the
loading of our large volume trucks. All of our front end
loaders are fitted with 5m 3 buckets and calibrated loader
scales. The loader scales provides a printout of the total
weight loaded on the truck, this ensures that our customers
are supplied with the correct volume that has been ordered.

Bark & Compost applies best practice environmental
management techniques at its processing plant. Water used
in the processing of the raw materials is recycled and used
for further improvement to storage and production areas of
the site. Bark & Compost holds all relevant licences and
approvals under the Queensland Environmental Protection
Act and the Town Planning Act.
